If you're after a bit of luxury with adventure mixed in, look no further than Livingstone. Fun filled with everything from bungee jumping to jet skiing, white water rafting and panoramic views of the falls from heart-stopping tiny aircraft to keep you out of trouble, this place really has got it all.
We were very excited to attend the Chinese Festival at Levy Junction. We watched as the car park was transformed into a red and yellow sea of colour. It was even more of a surprise when the occasion, to mark the Chinese Spring Temple Fair, was attended by First President Kenneth Kaunda and Vice President Guy Scott.
This year promises to be an exciting one for Magic of Zambia, with plenty happening to keep us on our toes. Above all, we aim to bring you the best of Zambia. We would also like to highlight that we are members of the Events Solutions group, your one-stop-shop for all events in Zambia!
Sometimes we rush through the city so busy and pre-occupied that we don't notice how colourful Lusaka can be. Actually, the little things that can be irritating are some of the most beautiful. Let us know what you think of these pics - why not send us some of your own and we'll feature them!

Read more...This week will be a busy week of research, photography and new people in Livingstone as the Livingstone Guidebook takes shape. So far this evening was a buzz of people at the Italian restaurant Olga's - which supports young people by teaching them money earning skills. Rocket and parmasan salad; penne with speck, cream and mushroom - all on the menu. And lots of people lining up for the pizzas...
Outside the bustle of the Italian haven, Livingstone is quit, except for the occasional toot of the train as it approaches the Livingstone station. Old buildings reminiscent of the old colonial regime are dotted along the high street, next to modern bars and restaurants or shopping malls. There is plenty to explore here. Watch this space for some images and posts in the next few days.
